While this is a small example of a lattice guardrail beam bridge, it is in good shape, and is open to traffic. As a result, it is a good, albeit short, example of its type. The bridge is in a scenic setting, as the tiny creek-like water it crosses actually has a bit of a valley to it, with this bridge down as the bottom. This attractive setting plays a large role in making this bridge attractive and worth visiting. This bridge is an easy and logical stop on the way to the beautiful Gower Road Bridge. The bridge is unlike a number of other lattice guardrail beam bridges in Michigan since it has a standard concrete deck rather than a jack-arch deck.
