With intact guardrails, three spans, and a skewed design, this bridge is a good example of standard plan beam bridge construction in the late 1940s. This two-lane bridge might have once served three lanes (one being a left turn lane most likely) because it has large shoulder on either side, larger than one would expect in a 1947 bridge.
