John Marvig did additional research and found the following information: Bridge damaged in floods in 2016. Cleary-White Construction Co. of Chicago, Illinois was the substructure contractor.
This railroad line has a number of historic riveted truss bridges on it, but this particular bridge stands out. As an uncommon example of a lattice truss it is automatically noteworthy, but it is particularly unusual for its number of spans, five in total. Among surviving lattice truss bridges, the majority tend to be only one or two spans. This bridge is also noted for its skew. The bridge has four spans that appear to measure around 120 feet and contain nine panels, but the northern span is larger and has 12 panels and appears to measure around 160 feet.
