This bridge is a traditional and unadorned example of a closed spandrel arch bridge. Its original railings have been replaced. Modest architectural detailing is limited to horizontal lines on the arches. Looking under the bridge, there is what looks like a seam a short distance from the outside face of the bridge. This may suggest that this bridge was widened at some date, which would further imply that the architectural detailing seen is not original either.
