This bridge is of a simple and unremarkable structure type, but it is an unaltered example of a county-designed bridge from the 1940s. As such, it is an outstanding example of some of the intriguing architectural details that the county incorporated in some of its bridges. The bridge would not be described as ornate, but it is beautifully designed in a manner that appears to follow the Streamline Moderne style which was popular around the time this bridge was built. The design of the railings emphasize long, horizontal lines, while the abutments have a decorative cylindrical design to them.
