This bridge is a traditionally composed five panel truss bridge which also features two wooden stringer approach spans at the northern end. Alterations to the truss include the addition of cables to bottom chord and hip verticals. The original bridge material remains however and appears unaltered. The bridge does show evidence of a bent endpost, but is otherwise in good structural condition. The bridge's condition is appropriate for a future preservation project to either rehabilitate the bridge for continued vehicular use, or to relocate and restore it for non-motorized use. The bridge is a good representative example of a late pin-connected truss bridge. Sitting out in the open for all to see, the bridge is located in a scenic agricultural setting,  and the bridge contributes to the beauty of the setting.
