This is an outstanding example of a mid-1870s King Bridge Company cast and wrought iron bowstring truss bridge. And old National Bridge Inventory sheet from 1992 listed the bridge as built in 1918 and reconstructed in 1938. These might indicate rehab or relocation dates, or might be total errors. The bridge has an 1877 plaque on it. The bridge has been closed to vehicular traffic, but remains open for pedestrian usage.
