Bridge Documentation

This attractive and unaltered railroad overpass bridge with R4 railing is difficult to photograph since it is located in the middle of an interchange. The plaque is on the abutment wall facing busy I-75. For these reasons, only early morning photos are available of this bridge. The builder of this bridge, Louis Garavaglia, was killed in a helicopter crash in 1958, a few years after this bridge was built. Steel for this bridge was fabricated by Bethlehem Steel Company.
