This bridge no longer exists!

Bridge Status: This historic bridge has been demolished and replaced ca. 2021!

This was a very large steel deck arch. Steel arch bridges, particularly those dating prior to 1950, are uncommon and thus this bridge was historically significant. It was also noteworthy for its large 502 foot length. As large as it was, a thick population of trees immediately around the bridge, along with a very steep valley made photography of this bridge difficult. The bridge was 105 feet high, had 460 tons of steel, and required 15,000 rivets to be driven in the field. The bridge cost $114,000.
