Bridge Documentation

This bridge is near to the Cleves Bridge, as can be seen in the left of the above photo. The bridge is an impressive six span structure. The truss configuration is Warren, and the connections are riveted. The bridge was built in 1913 by the Pennsylvania Steel Company. There is lattice and v-lacing on the sway bracing and lateral bracing, and lattice is also under the top chord. The bridge carries two sets of railroad tracks. Note that there is another similar, yet smaller, bridge down the road a bit on this same railroad line.
