This bridge is a good example of a provincial standard plan truss bridge in Ontario. It has all the traditional details, although the lattice pedestrian railing has been replaced except for at the approaching ends, where a few original lattice railing panels remain in place, allowing for the interpretation of what sort of railing the entire bridge once had. The bridge appears to be in excellent condition with recent paint and a new deck.
