Bridge Documentation

Information from Ontario Bridge Inventory: Bridge width: 11.3 meters.

This bridge is an outstanding example of Ontario's beautiful rigid-frame expressway overpasses. Once there were many of these bridges, however they are rapidly being demolished and replaced and are locally rare. This bridge stands out for its heavy skew. The bridge has ribs that are fewer in number but far thicker than the ribs on the non-skewed overpasses on this stretch of the 401 through London and Woodstock.
