Bridge Documentation

This bobtail swing bridge is the only through truss on the historic Canal de Chambly. This bridge crosses the Canal de Chambly which is a National Historic Site of Canada. In the opinion of HistoricBridges.org, these historic bridges contribute to the heritage of the canal and should be preserved. To date, some of these bridges have been preserved, while others have been demolished.
