Located in the heart of this attractive small village is one of only two known Schwedler truss bridges in all of North America. The bridge remains in good condition. It has been repaired over the years, with some rivets having been replaced with bolts. The flooring system including floorbeams has been replaced. However, the Schwedler truss remains intact.
