Click a thumbnail and the photo will pop up in the viewer. Clicking a photo that is in the viewer will closer the viewer allowing you to select a different photo. You can also browse through photos from within the viewer when it is open. It is also possible to click on more than one photo thumbnail and get two viewers that can be dragged and arranged around the screen.
