The plaque was hard to read, but the date was 189 something, most likely a 9. There are a number of pony truss bridges remaining in Iroquois county built by the Massillon Bridge Company during the 1890s.
This bridge is a four panel pin connected half-hip Pratt pony truss. It features channel railings and a wooden deck. Looped eye bars are present on the bridge. There is v-lacing present on the vertical members. Structurally the bridge appeared to be a good condition, despite its being abandoned. The stone abutments looked like they were beginning to fall apart however. This would be a good bridge to consider relocating somewhere before its abutments bring about the demise of an otherwise restorable truss bridge.
