With a 1929 construction date, this is one of a few examples of later era truss bridges in Iroquois County. The first thing that stands out about this bridge is its skew. Skew typically is less noticeable with pony trusses, but this bridge is so heavily skewed that even as a pony truss it clearly shows. This bridge is a four panel Pratt pony truss with riveted connections. At 77 feet long, this bridge is a rather long bridge for only having four panels, and especially when those four panels come from the fact that this bridge is a full-slope truss rather than half-hip. Four is actually the smallest number of panels a full-slope Pratt truss can have.
