I only have distance photos of this bridge, and will have to make a point of examining it closer some other time when I am in Chicago. Time in the day was running out by the time I got to this bridge and so I settled for the shots I have here on the site. This bridge is similar to the Ohio Street Bridge. According to the bridge's entry in www.nationalbridges.com this structure was repaired somehow in 1994. I am unsure if this was just a fresh coat of paint or if any of the steel was replaced or modified.
