I couldn't figure out how to get a portal view without creating a ruckus but fortunately HABS HAER had a rare color photo, and it was just the angle I needed! These are both the same image, but I cropped the second photo to a computer monitor ratio for use as desktop background.

For convenience, I included these two data pages from HABS HAER. The one on the left shows the operation of the bridge when in motion. The one on the right shows how the bridge was shortened when the river was re-dug.
