Ohio Overview

Ohio has one of the highest numbers of metal truss bridges for any one state in the country. From small 40 foot pony truss bridges to bowstring truss bridges, to large concrete rainbow arch bridges, Ohio has it all. Demolition of historic bridges occurs frequently, but on the other hand, preservation success stories are also fairly prevalent in the state as well.
