Ontario OverviewSouthwestern Ontario is the second largest coverage area for this website. Ontario takes good care of its truss bridges, but pin connected truss bridges are few in number. Their truss bridges are often on busy roads as opposed to rural dirt roads. Most southwestern Ontario truss bridges date from the 1910s on. There are many Welland Canal Bridges featured on this website, which is in Niagara Region. Finally, note that there are some bridges from Algoma District, which surrounds Sault Ste. Marie in northern Ontario. Note: Due to the physical size of Ontario, the clickable maps are divided into two sections. Immediately below, you will find southern Ontario, where most of the coverage is. Scroll down further to find the map showing available northern Ontario locations, as well as a text list of all available counties.
