This bridge is next to the Arlene Drive Bridge. Railroad overpasses on expressways (old and new) usually look vastly different from a highway overpass, and this bridge is no exception. Pier design, abutment design, and structure type are all different. It is however similar to some other deck plate girder overpasses that cross non-expressway trunklines, such as the M-54 Dort Highway Bridge or the M-53 Imlay City Bridge.
