This bridge was incorrectly listed in the historic bridge inventory as a concrete culvert. Luke found this bridge just by chance while driving along. It is in fact a bridge type that is rapidly becoming rare in Michigan, a concrete girder bridge. The bridge is in good condition, and should be maintained and/or restored for continued vehicular use. With the (needless) demolition of the Capac Road Bridge, this bridge is now the most significant of St. Clair County's few remaining straight chord concrete girder bridges.
