If the 1930 construction date listed for this bridge is correct, and the railings are original, this is one of the oldest known examples of a bridge to use this railing design which was used through the early 1960s. The design of the inset rectangles on the concrete railing posts do indeed follow a style found on the older bridges using these railings.
