This bridge is one of only two curved t-beam expressway overpass bridges in northern Michigan that retains original railings. Modern Armco guardrails have been added to the bridge, but the original railings remain as well. The bridge is in good condition and has been protected with a sealant paint. This bridge is also noteworthy for its 39 degree skew.
