This small t-beam bridge is most noted for its railing design. A few other bridges in Michigan feature this. It is designed to look like a miniature curved chord through girder (concrete camelback) bridge which was also built in Michigan around this time. However, with these bridges, the "girders" are just decorative railings, with beams under the bridge doing the work. They are very attractive bridges, and point to a time where even the smallest bridges, which might only be corrugated culverts if rebuilt today, were made to look as attractive as possible.
