| Weale Road Bridge | Unknown | Rural: Huron County, Michigan | Metal Riveted Warren Pony Truss, Stationary | 0 By: Unknown |
There are private truss bridges scattered all over western Huron County, some still crossing a feature, or others just sitting on the grass in storage. This bridge is one that is in storage. A county resident mentioned that a bridge sitting near Weale Road came from Kilmanagh Road. However there are two identical truss bridges on Weale Road sitting on the side of the road. This is the other one. As a result, either one could actually be the Kilmanagh Road Bridge. This bridge however is quite close to a the Pigeon River crossing on Weale Road, and this bridge may have come from there. However, nothing is for sure. In either case, both bridges are essentially identical, except that this bridge has been in the field longer and retains original railings.
Considering how close these two bridges are to each other, the same person may own these bridges. It is unclear however who that person is, as there were no occupied houses around.
