This spectacular bridge has an amazing six through truss spans of relatively large size. This alone forms an impressive railroad bridge. However, in addition, the truss spans on this bridge feature the impressive Warren Quadrangular truss configuration, which is a truss type that regionally varies from uncommon to rare. This makes for a very significant and noteworthy structure. Stone piers from a previous structure remain next to the existing bridge. The bridge features built-up members and chords, which includes V-lacing under the top chord, lattice on the sway bracing, and battens on diagonal members. The hip verticals feature v-lacing as well. Verticals are not present on other parts of the bridge, per the traditional Warren Quadrangular design.
