This is a very large steel deck arch. Steel arch bridges, particularly those dating prior to 1950, are uncommon and thus this bridge is historically significant. It is also noteworthy for its large 502 foot length. As large as it is, a thick population of trees immediately around the bridge, along with a very steep valley makes photography of this bridge difficult.
