This bridge is an excellent example of a traditional pin-connected pony truss. It features visually pleasing trusses that have a relatively tall feel to them. The bridge contains five panels. It is doubtful that paint color is the source of the name White Bridge (bridges were often named after people who lived near them), but today the bridge does indeed have a fading coat of white paint on it!
