Portal view facing west. You can see why I need to revisit this bridge. I mistakenly clipped off the decorative lacework that is above the portal and not visible in this photo. You gotta cut me some credit, as it was raining and thundering while I was here! Mother nature does not often like to make my historic bridge hobby easy...
Someone graffiti-ed "Zero Hope" on the barrier in front of this bridge. It actually is appropriate, and reflective of the mood regarding the future of these truss bridges in Wheeling!
