Bridge Name | Type | Road | Location | City | Crossing |
| Temperance Yard Railroad Overpass | Truss | Railroad | Lucas County, OH | Toledo | Railroad (CSX, Temperance Yard) |
This enormous single span pony truss was originally built for two sets rail lines, although today it only carries one. Perhaps because of this wide deck, and decent span length, the size of the poly trusses are enormous. This is a bridge for which getting a sense of scale can be difficult. Look at the size of the steel rails to help get a sense of scale. The bridge is a subdivided Warren truss with riveted connections. There is lattice under the top chord/end post and the diagonals are v-laced.
There is a beautiful highway through truss next to this bridge also, but you cannot get to it, as it is privately owned by some business who clearly doesn't want anyone visiting their bridge.
