Some maps show this road as River Road. It doesn't cross the main Cuyahoga River, rather it crosses a little branch off of the river near Lake Erie.
This is one of the youngest of the bridges that could be considered to have historic value in Cleveland, thus its significance is limited. It represents well the form of truss bridge construction in the 1960s and retains its original materials. It is an attractive structure especially when viewed from a distance.
