Lake Street is also known as State Road 425. The bridge is in Wilson, New York and appears to go over a small and short branch of 12 Mile Creek. The primary interest in this structure are the spectacular approach guardrails, which appear to be from a former bridge, perhaps a beam bridge or a tiny truss bridge from the turn of the century. The current bridge itself appears to be a concrete arch bridge that could date from 1910 through the 1930s. The guardrail style is extremely rare, is my personal favorite, and I have only seen or heard of the design on two other bridges, one a thru truss bridge in Pennsylvania and also Military Street in Port Huron, MI. Both are now gone.
I like the lattice style of the guardrails, coupled with the gothic arch design. These railings also have some punched metal designs below, that are falling apart on on of the two sections and are gone on the other section. Note that these old railings were only on the west approaches for this bridge.
