The bridge has some good brand markings for Cambria and Jones and Laughlin. Just to clarify spelling, the road this bridge is on is Akerley but a dot on the map lists a name of Arkerly (same name without the "e").

This bridge is a tiny little three panel bridge which has had supports added under each floor beam turning the bridge into a three span stringer in terms of how the structure functions. Thus, the trusses are today decorative. Sadly, the trusses are in very poor condition. However, even today, they continue to function as an attractive feature along this rural roadway.

Discussion of Bridge

According to PennDOT records, the original Pratt pony truss superstructure was replaced in 1988 by the addition of steel stringers and two concrete barrel piers. The Pratt trusses were kept as railings.
