Historic Significance Rating (HSR)

Information and Findings From Pennsylvania's Historic Bridge Inventory

Discussion of Bridge

The single span, 90'-long reinforced concrete closed spandrel deck arch bridge dated to 1921 is finished with pedimented, paneled concrete parapets. The bridge is an example of a type that was used in the county since 1910. The earlier examples better represent the technology in Bradford County. Neither the bridge nor its setting is historically or technologically distinguished.

Discussion of Surrounding Area

The single lane bridge carries an unimproved township road over a stream in a sparsely developed, forested area. The setting does not appear to have historic district potential.
