This bridge was the second bridge to be erected in the Calhoun County Bridge Park. The bridge is unusual because it is a Pratt truss configuration yet has riveted connections. Riveted connection Pratt trusses are common on Michigan's railroads, but not on Michigan's highways. According to HABS HAER, the bridge was built in 1907. HABS HAER has a decent amount of info on this bridge as well as photos of the bridge in its original location. The bridge features a small, tight style of v-lacing on its verticals and diagonals which are similar to that of the Indian Trail Bridge, which will also eventually be at the bridge park.
