I have a short video of this bridge actually being knocked down into the river. The movie is in the Windows Media Video format, so if you have a fairly recent version of Windows Media Player it should work. The file is 2.46mb in size. I recommend right-clicking on the link below and choosing "Save Target As" and saving it to your desktop, so that you can play it without having to try to stream the video.
This video is rated "R" for extreme violence toward truss bridges... viewer discretion is advised. Historic bridges were harmed in the making of this film.

The Church Road Bridge demolition was a matter of life and death for this Robin's babies who were inside the top chord when the bridge was knocked down.
