This photo from Michigan Historic Sites Online shows the bridge in its original location, as well as a homemade sign protesting the move of the bridge.
Plaques lined up on the wooden deck and railings identify people and groups who donated to help save this bridge.
Here an added cable is visible. The cable runs alongside the deck. I was told that this was added by the county many years ago, and was not added as part of the restoration.
