Annoyingly, it was raining when I visited this beautiful railroad pin connected Parker truss bridge. As a result my inspection and photographing of this bridge was minimal. I nevertheless caught a decent photo of a Union Pacific train crossing this bridge. I noticed a major modification, which appears to be from some sort of damage, likely from a train pulling something that was too high. The entire bottom portion of the south half of this bridges portal and sway bracing has been replaced. This is a bridge I hope to revisit in the future to make a closer inspection. There appears to be a river walk on the north side of the river below the bridge that might offer unique views of the bridge.
