This is Frith Road Bridge during the fall of 2003. Still open to traffic

This is Frith Road when I visited in January of 2004. The bridge was closed because someone
crashed into a part of the bridge.

Steel i-beams were driven in next to the structure to stabilize it wile it sits and is disassembled.

Sadly the caissons will be lost. Although they were causing the bridge to slowly tip over, they were still interesting looking.
