These are some nearby riveted steel devices that were once used to load railroad cars onto a St. Clair River ferry for transport to Sarnia, Ontario. They are included in this collection because they are part of the railroad system that once existed here, of which the bridge was a part. These may be threatened with destruction by Acheson Ventures, which has shown only inconsistent and spotty consideration for the historic elements of this area. The future of these are thus uncertain.

This historic photo shows a train in Pine Grove Park, which a bit north of this bridge. There is no trace of the tracks left in Pine Grove Park, which were the railway that included the bridge on them.
