This is the plaque from the 1933 bridge that provided the new US-112 alignment. it is now mounted on the new slab bridge.

This is what modern bridge "engineering" has managed to reduce plaques to. This would fit in your pocket. A far cry from plaques seen on bridges such as the Hickory Bridge. However, the "plaque", with a 1997 date on it, does inform visitors of how many years they missed the 1933 bridge by.
