Thanks to James Rouse for visiting and photographing this historic bridge.
This plate girder is quite old, dating to the late 1800s, and was built by a prolific company that built a large number of structures in the Midwest. It features wooden approach spans and attractive sandstone piers that came from a quarry located approximately 50 miles from this bridge.
