This bridge is composed of a through truss main span with eight panels. This bridge has some unusual details to it. It includes a hip vertical which is an eye bar and is attached to the outside of the top chord, rather than inside. Vertical members are back to back channels with lattice on each side, which is also an uncommon design. Sway bracing features a slightly arched design. These uncommon features set this truss bridge ahead of other structures of the period, making this bridge is significant piece of transportation heritage.
