This is an eight panel structure that also features a skew. On of the hip verticals has been replaced, but it otherwise retains good historic integrity. It is located on a very tight curve on US-250. Such a tight alignment on a primary roadway is unusual, but given the curvy nature of the entire road as it weaves around the knobby mountains the bridge is really not much worse than other sections of the road. The bridge however is essentially a one-lane bridge, which is quite unusual for a U.S. Highway. On the other hand, while US-250 is the only major road in the area, it still seems to be a fairly lightly traveled road given its status. This is a rather rural area.
